About me

BACKGROUND AND THERAPY APPROACH

With a solid background in neuroscience, clinical psychology, and therapeutic practice, I am here to support expats and international clients as they navigate the unique challenges of life abroad. I understand how daunting cultural adaptation and mental health concerns can be, and I offer my sessions in both English and Italian, ensuring you feel comfortable and understood in your preferred language.

I completed my university studies in psychology at the University of Trento, where I deepened my passion for clinical psychology and neuroscience. I then had the opportunity to continue my studies through an Erasmus program at the Université de Liège, followed by a period at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where I completed my thesis and worked for nearly two years at the university. After graduation, I moved to Munich to start my professional career.

My areas of focus include ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and sleep-related issues, recognizing how these can profoundly affect daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. I specialize in helping individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, and adults—learn to recognize and regulate their emotions. Whether through private sessions or group therapy, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where you can grow. Additionally, I provide guidance for parents on the rewarding yet challenging journey of raising emotionally intelligent children.

In our sessions, I adopt a collaborative and empathetic approach, creating a safe space where we can explore your concerns and aspirations together. Incorporating mindfulness techniques is an integral part of my practice, as they help foster greater self-awareness and emotional resilience in my clients.

Having worked in both Italy and Germany, I understand the complexities of adjusting to a new country and the challenges of confronting cultural differences. My goal is to offer you continuity, support, and clarity as you navigate these experiences.

Beyond therapy, I find solace in practicing yoga, which helps me stay grounded and connected. If you’re ready to begin this journey, feel free to reach out. Or if you’re simply curious to learn more, I’d love to connect with you, whether you’re in Munich or wherever life may lead you.
